General Manager of Bai-Tushum Bank Gulnara Shamshieva delivers a speech at the National Women’s Forum of the Kyrgyz Republic

Each year in consolidation of civil society efforts Kyrgyzstan celebrates the 8^th of March –International Women’s Day, day of women’s political rights vindication and promotion. In connection with the 8^th March celebration the National Women’s Forum of Kyrgyzstan titled “For equal rights and opportunities: dialogue of generations” was held the last Friday at the T.Satylganov Kyrgyz  National Philharmonic Hall, which engaged more than 700 people. These were the students of Bishkek universities, Kyrgyz Jogorku Kenesh and local kenesh deputies, the representatives of state institutions and civil society, UN agencies, international organizations and business communities.

As a part of this forum in the Women Changing the World block, General Manager of Bai-Tushum Bank Gulnara Shamshieva delivered a speech before female students to encourage them to fulfill themselves as active society members regardless of the common biases about women’s role in the society. It is worth mentioning that in the course of the forum, General Manager of Bai-Tushum Bank Gulnara Shamshieva was awarded with Datka Aiym medal by Ayaldar Keneshteri organization for achievements in business and women support efforts.

Moreover, the Bank sponsored the prize fund of Thanks to Clara Zetkin students’ trivia, where the winning university teams were awarded with money certificates.
