Financial Group Bai-Tushum financed leases totaling more than 560 thousand euro under the leasing project, initiated by the financial group Bai-Tushum and the German Society for International Cooperation (GiZ), following the signing of the 2009 Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of private businesses in Germany and the German Society for International Cooperation (GiZ).

Thanks to this public-private partnership the long-term leasing program has been launched, which will contribute to solving the problem of food security of Kyrgyzstan, using effective methods of conducting agricultural activities by farmers and farms. It should be noted that this project is a good start for leasing development in Kyrgyzstan. It includes not only the supply of agricultural machinery and service organization, which is essential for long-term operation. To date, in the frame of the project 7 units of agricultural machinery has already been bought by four cooperatives and one farm.

“It’s not a secret that today in Kyrgyzstan farm equipment is obsolete and outdated, and that led to the fact that in the Republic while using the old technology available in the farms, farmers lose much of farmed products. Accordingly, the yields fall. So Financial Group Bai-Tushum took an active part in this project through the provision of leased product that will allow farmers to upgrade their technical equipment fleet of German quality at an affordable price “, – said Tilek Ashimov, head of the Kyrgyz-German working group of public-private project partnership.

Features and specifications of acquired leasing equipment were demonstrated on 19 July in Belovodskoye village as part of the “Field Day” on which the presentation of new grain combines “Dominator-130” of CLAAS German company was conducted. The representative of the German company CLAAS noted: «The result of the latest engineering design of the firm was grain combine “Dominator -130 “, which meets modern international standards, and is easy in maintenance as well as is compact and maneuverable. It is important to note the high hourly productivity of combines and harvest quality and availability of air conditioners, which will provide comfortable working conditions in hot weather”.

General Manager of CJSC MFC Bai-Tushum and Partners, Gulnara Shamshieva stressed: “The development and support of such projects for us is an important task for today, because our customers are mainly in the regions of Kyrgyzstan and we see that there is a real need of farmers and farms in the renewal of technical park. They understand that modern and reliable equipment will significantly improve the efficiency of farming”.
