Abduvali Tashmamatov, a native of Chon-Alay region, Osh oblast, didn’t stand out among his fellow villagers. After graduation from the high school he served in the Soviet Army and returned to his native village, where he helped his parents growing crops.

After a while he settled down to married life, four children were born. Abduvali understood that for maintaining a family he should earn more. Thereby there was a family council gathered and they took a decision to depart for Russia to make some earnings. Everything that was earned was remitted to the homeland. This money was sufficient only for daily needs. Abduvali took a decision to return and to try to launch his own business.

In May 2004 he and his family moved to Jalal-Abad and decided to engage in trade. He named his trade point «Arzan Dukonu». In that period, the trade was good, but there was no stability, which he sought for long. And can there be stability if there is no family home? The money that the family earned was enough for food and clothing, but they couldn’t save funds to purchase the house.

This situation urged Abduvali on addressing Jalal-Abad branch of Bai-Tushum and Partners for a mortgage loan, and bought a  four-room apartment in the center of Jalal-Abad. After his first successful experience, Abduvali decided to expand his business and in March 2008 he received a second loan for business development. The trading was very successful, which enabled Abduvali to repay this loan without default. In January 2009, he received the third loan for the trade. The loans Abduvali obtained enabled him to increase the volume of trade more than twice, and the family wellbeing increased accordingly.
