Work never stops in the sewing workshop of Gipariza Ashimova. The work is going on from the early morning to late evening. She and her 15 employees make beautiful women’s clothes that are at least of the same quality as imported from China goods. Her items are sold not only in the Kyrgyz market, but also exported to Kazakhstan and Russia.

The young woman has three little children, and she wants to give them good education and to see them well established, and therefore, the work that brings decent income can never be a burden. The work of a sewing machine operator is always hard, sometimes she has to work on her feet all day long without any rest, and sometimes she even forgets to have lunch. However Gipariza is not complaining, her work is troublesome, but at the same time it is very interesting and creative.

In 2006, Gipariza and her family moved to Romanovka village, Moscovskiy Raion, where she re-equipped one room and made it a sewing workshop. She bought the necessary equipment needed to start the business and began making women’s clothes.

Last year Gipariza decided that she needed to expand, for which the additional funds were required. She approached the Bai-Tushum and Partners Company that she had heard much about from her family and friends, and obtained the loan.

In the near future Gipariza plans to expand her business, she will have to build additional room for sewing shop and to buy sewing machines and of course to hire more workers. When she has spare time, Gipariza likes to read books and listen to classical music.
