Bank’s clients receive certificates of commendation from the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic

Today during the “Improvement of business environment in women’s entrepreneurship” conference, held in Bishkek by the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Asian Development Bank, the Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kojoshev and the Country Director of ADB Kyrgyz Republic Resident Mission Candice McDeigan awarded Bai-Tushum Bank clients with the certificates of commendation of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. For active participation in the development of women’s entrepreneurship project, certificates were granted to Ainagul Jamgyrchieva from Karakol and Kenjebubu Aiylchieva from Talas.

Moreover, in the course of the conference the head of Bai-Tushum Bank retail lending development division Ekaterina Polyakova made the “Assessment by the bank of loan impact on women borrowers” presentation. She presented to the participants the methodology for the assessment of poverty rate and the probability of loan causing the change in the situation. This methodology was developed with the support of ADB. Further on, the bank is planning to introduce it to its business processes with the purpose of improving the methods of borrower creditworthiness assessment and determination of the maximum loan amount.

We remind that for its 16 years of operation, Bai-Tushum strongly focused on lending to women entrepreneurs from country regions.
