Human resources policy

Human resources policy opens opportunities of substantial carrier growth and development for Company’s employees through planning, evaluation of their activity and training. Remunerations and bonuses strategy makes our Company to be the even more competitive employer at the labor market. Company’s management continuously improves and creates attractive work conditions for its employees, thus motivating them, and supports their desire to raise qualifications.

In 2008 the number of employees in the Head Office increased for 24% and in branches for 43% against the year 2007; Company-wise the number of employees increased for 41%. At the end of 2007 the Company employed 123 people, and at the end of 2008 – 208. At that, personnel turnover by results of 2008 was only 17% proving employees’ loyalty to the Company.

Motivation and remuneration
The Company tries to constantly monitor changes at salaries’ market to remain attractive for job seekers and current employees. Company’s bonus system is designed in a way to make sure each Company’s employee is interested in both improvement of work productivity and continuous increase in professional level.

The Company takes into account individual contributions of all employees. Motivation system is transparent and encourages both increase in personal performance and responsibility of each employee for the team work results.

Training and Development

In 2008 the Company continued investing in training and development of its personnel: 120 employees participated in various internal trainings, and 14 employees took part in external trainings both abroad and in Kyrgyzstan. Once a quarter the Company has introductory courses for new employees to familiarize them with specifics and peculiarities of the lending process. Such introductory training courses introduce them to basics of working with clients, skills of efficient sales, and work on improving the quality of servicing clients.

28.08.2010 Company carries out a rebranding process
10 years of successful work allowed the Company to take a leading position on the Kyrgyz Republic market. In the frame of ambitious plans of development Company intends to intensively increase the volumes of crediting, to expand the spectrum of rendered services and improve the institutional potential.  One of the important steps in the Company’s development is – rebranding, that reflects the large-scaled internal changes, in the basis of which an active transition into the model of development of client-oriented business lies. This step will allow to correspond at maximum to high requirements of the modern market and to open new horizons of growth remaining at the same time committed to its social mission and values.

26.08.2010 Company, together with “Kiva” fund has introduced a new social-oriented project

Company, together with “Kiva” Fund has launched a new social-oriented project in Bishkek, Talas, Osh, Djalal-Abad and Naryn branches. In the frame of this project loans are being disbursed to socially-vulnerable segments of people with the grace interest rate for two years period. Till the end of September Company plans to implement the project in other branches. Implementation of the pilot project was carried out with the participation of Sam Trauffer – Kiva Foundation fellow, who came to our country for the purpose of rendering assistance to the Company on implementation of the project.

03.08.2010 The EBRD has provided the first tranche of KGS 67.5 million to “Bai-Tushum and Partners” Company as part of the agreement, signed in March, 2010
The EBRD is providing KGS 67.5 million to the Micro Finance Company “Bai-Tushum and Partners” for on-lending to micro and small enterprises (MSEs). Today the Bank has disbursed the first of two equal tranches under a KGS 135 million (equivalent of USD 3 million) loan agreement signed in March 2010.
